Design has a way of answering practical needs while still inviting curiosity and emotion. It is where purpose meets imagination, and where spaces begin to feel truly considered. #TheDesignory #ConsideredDesign #InteriorInspiration #DesignThinking #AustralianDesign #ThoughtfulSpaces

Did you know that full architectural and interior design plans for a home can cost anywhere between $25,000–$100,000? We know — because we’ve spent over 20 years creating them and designing more than 400 homes. But here’s the thing: if you’re design-savvy and know the kind of home you want, you don’t always need to start from scratch — you just need a great plan. That’s why we created our Plan Packages. They give you access to real architectural building plans and fully resolved interior spaces, without the traditional designer or architect price tag. From complete home plans right through to individual spaces — kitchens and laundries, living rooms and home offices, bathrooms, bedrooms and bunkrooms, pools and exteriors. These aren’t simplified concepts or generic layouts. They’re the actual plans from our own TD bespoke homes, detailed with everything your builder and trades need — joinery layouts, appliance locations, shadow lines, overhangs, integrated storage and all those thoughtful details that make a home feel truly considered. Every package includes the working CAD file, so you can make adjustments yourself — or book an EDIT the Plan session and we’ll tailor it to your space in a focused one-hour consult. No overwhelm. No unnecessary expense. Just designer-level plans — because creating a beautiful home shouldn’t be harder (or more expensive) than it needs to be. Comment PLAN and we will DM you the links to the plans.

Good design shouldn’t be a luxury. After 20+ years in the industry and over 400 homes designed, we know firsthand how expensive custom kitchen and laundry plans can be—we’ve spent years creating them ourselves. So earlier this year, we decided to change the model. Because fundamentally, we believe great design should be for everyone. Our Kitchen & Laundry Plan Packages give homeowners access to real designer plans—without the designer price tag. These aren’t generic layouts. They’re the actual building and interior design plans from 7 of our own TD bespoke homes, now available for instant download. Inside each package you’ll find fully detailed plans your builder or joiner can work from straight away: appliance locations, shadow lines, overhangs, integrated storage, appliance cupboards and all the thoughtful design inclusions that make a space truly work. We also include the working CAD file, so you can easily tweak the plan yourself—or book an EDIT the Plan session and we’ll tailor it to your space along with a focused one-hour consult. No fuss. No unnecessary expense. Just smart, designer solutions—because renovating doesn’t need to be hard. Explore all plans via our website.

Some projects stop you in your tracks — and Glenrae is one of them. What we love most is the sheer power of the architecture and landscape working together. Sweeping, monolithic forms rise from the site with a quiet confidence, while the landscaping grounds the home, softening and shaping the experience as you move through it. There’s something almost cathedral-like about the way space, light and scale are handled here. The structures feel monumental yet calm, with the landscape acting as both anchor and counterpoint — framing views, guiding movement and creating moments of pause. This is a project that reminds us how impactful design can be when restraint, intention and respect for place lead the way. Architecture that feels timeless. Landscaping that feels essential. A home that resonates long after you’ve seen it. We absolutely love it. Good design invites curiosity. It draws you in, reveals itself over time, and rewards those who take a closer look. Spaces should feel layered, thoughtful, and quietly compelling. #TheDesignory #GoodDesign #InteriorInspiration #ConsideredSpaces #DesignDetails #TimelessInteriors

This Albert Park residence is a beautiful example of how moody colour, when used with intention, can feel both timeless and deeply livable. Designed by Melbourne-based studio @s_r_and_o, the project involved a full interior reimagining of a classic Victorian home. Rather than competing with the home’s heritage character, the design thoughtfully preserves and celebrates original details — using colour as a powerful tool to elevate and anchor them. The home opens up into lighter, more relaxed family zones that connect seamlessly to the reworked outdoor spaces. Here, the palette softens, reinforcing a sense of flow, ease and everyday functionality — a thoughtful balance that supports modern family living while maintaining design integrity. A quietly confident home that proves moody colour, done well, never dates. Photography by @sharyncairns #Melbournehome #melbourneinteriordesign #australiandesign #homes
