I want to introduce your guys to my new big interest. A couple of months ago I went to visit my sister in Serbia. She invited me to a bachata class that was too boring for me. They were explaining very basic steps that I already knew but they happen to have a party that day. Watching people dance at that party blew me away. Everything I knew about bachata 10 years ago changed. Sensual Bachata was a new animal and I couldn’t do it ???? so I decided to take some lessons when I came back home. I got hooked! I’ve been taking class after class but of course my favorite thing is to improvise ???? I also love following (dancing with somebody as a follower) so much because it’s so unpredictable and you need to be really connected and “be listening” to another person who is so close to you. I’ve been also watching many things that don’t work in my opinion in the way bachata is taught. It’s not a choreo it’s something that is born in the moment and it feels like it’s a big missing piece. Anyway let’s see how this bachata thing will grow for me ???? I also fell in love with the ConRi style bachata which has a big influence of hip hop and strong accents. Might go to India to learn ???? ✈️

I was chatting with my sister today. I’ve been wanting to write something she’d like and want to play on the piano haha I had this initial idea about playing in the minor key. As I started playing with it and this came out. I let myself just flow with whatever comes out and improvise. I love writing music and wanted to share this one. I’m not sure I’ll ever write something that she’d like but it’s still fun to try ????

Today I felt that urge to write about something that I’ve been carrying for a while. It’s kinda sad but a song helps me truly end things inside. “Hey you”…I like it and it felt very alive but as always forgive my playing. I’m just a beginner ukulele player.

It’s a special episode for Talkin’ Trick: Trickline therapy!!! First of all I’m doing it with my very close friend @manuonwaves and it’s her birthday today ???? ???? Secondly it’s the 10th episode. It took for me a while but I’ve accomplished the first ten episodes which was a lot of work. Many hours of editing and figuring out things I never thought about like style of intro, audio editing etc. I’m happy I did it. And I’m really hoping for your support. I knew that this podcast is very niche and not many people would be interested in watching but if you do please show it by sharing or commenting. I can’t ???? I was recording a video of me trying a cheap hand winch to tension a trickline - the winch didn’t work! ???? I wanted to have subtitles since it was noisy at the beach and you could hardly hear my comments. But then I saw AI generated subtitles and wanted to try. This is what came out ???? And for people who are curious the bolt inside the winch bent even before I tensioned the line fully, the handle was too short and obviously the sling is running against teeth inside the winch. Also another there bolt fell off after I loosened the line. This kinda projects are fun to do when my work season is slow. But hey…fly that kite AI????

I feel proud about being a part of the TV show Game of Talents on @foxtv. Even though my tricklining skills are mediocre I found my niche with the high heels. I feel like the red dress is gradually becoming of a part of my style too ???? I feel good about not giving up throughout my years of training. I feel grateful for the support of my friends like @mr.yurinator.bbb. I was performing for the first time by myself for this show and hearing his voice before my performance gave me power. I also got the invitation to do this TV show because my other friend @josemarth and I recorded a video of me slacklining in the red dress and heals in Venice. Thank you for your ideas and good angles Jose. I also got lucky with Duane Burkhart rigging for this show and coming up with an idea how to make this work. You can spot that the slackline gets tensioned to the right tension in less than 5 seconds and there is no visible anchors.
