This body is a vehicle for my soul ✨ Over the past 4.5 years l’ve lost 100lbs naturally, starting at 246lbs to 146lbs today. I focused on eating in a slight deficit, prioritizing high protein and weight lifting but allowed for lots of flexibility. After years of struggling with my weight and body image, I entered into this journey with a new mindset- that I would move in harmony with my self and with life. Fueling the body is kindness, moving the body is love and I’m so thankful for this journey ????

The @babaramdass retreat was amazing. I don’t even know where to begin. By the time I left, I had made friends for life. And on the spiritual side, I healed. I got to know the women who were part of the OG Ram Dass crew. They’re authors, activists, bad asses. And they totally embraced me. They told me stories about the 70’s with Ram Dass and I loved it. And one night I told them my story, including all the ugly parts, the awakening, the aftermath and feeling lost. And they just sat there with this knowing smile, they understood, they encouraged me, kept saying everything is about to happen for me. I told them I was unsure about the book, they said write it. Write it now. I’m thankful I got to be a part of this amazing retreat and will continue to pay forward the gifts of kindness and presence that have been given to me. ????
