i spent a lot of years believing that my worth was something that i had to earn. something that was outside of me. something that i had to grasp for. chase. become. a lot of years believing that if i just changed certain aspects of myself - my body, my personality, the way i dressed...- if i just morphed myself enough to fit into the molds.. then i would be worthy. then i would FEEL worthy. feel “good enough” then i would be lovable. more confident. love myself. stop torturing my body to shrink into a smaller version of myself. and that single belief - the belief that i had to change in order to become “good enough” .. led me down a long dark road. a road that never led me to confidence. or worthiness. or loving myself. a road that actually led to the opposite. a road that led to more self hate. a war with the mirror. a war with food. a war with my body. the constant questions of “what is wrong with me?” or “when will i ever feel like enough” thankfully, those wars have long ended. those beliefs no longer exists. and i have reached self worth. i have reached “enoughness” but actually i didn’t “reach” anything. i didn’t change anything. i simply opened my eyes to the fact that all along, i was enough. just as i was. because here’s the thing, my loves - self worth is innate. not something that ever has to be earned. and if you never open your eyes to this fact, if you always look to the external to gain a sense of worthiness, you will never fully gain it. when we look at self worth and feeling good enough as a destination, something outside of ourselves, we will never reach it. this world will always sell us a new story of what we should do to become “more enough”. so incase you needed the reminder; who you are in this moment, exactly as you are, is enough. 100000X enough. more than enough. you don’t have to change a single thing about yourself to earn worth. to earn enoughness. you just have to open your heart and your eyes to the fact that it is already yours. don’t let the world convince you otherwise. you are worthy. you are lovable. you are enough. just as you are. ???

annnnd just like that it’s time for another *miniiii* lil instagram great break :’) this lil soul of mine has gone through so sooo much deep transformation over the last few months of my life. so much growth. so much expansion ?? it’s been messy and amazing and confusing and .. cool. transformational to say the least. anddd it *finally* feels like time to show up in alll of my expansiveness. finally feels like time to ALLOW myself to show up in all of my expansivenesss. ? and going inwards ~~always~~ helps me to allow myself to show up fullly. so... that’s what i’m going brb! turning inwards for a hot min ?? catch you cutiiiies in a weeek or so. (promise i won’t ghost you for two months like last time hehe))) don’t forget me! LOVE UUUU ?

intuitive eating. intuitive moving. intuitive living. that is where it’s @@@@ ?? acai bowls after tons of fresh mango even if the world says fruit has too much sugar. body weight movement on my lil yogi mat even if the world says strength training is best for your bod adventures on a monday even if the world says i should be working ??? because don’t forget you have a lil voice inside of you that tells you exactly what you really like and exactly what you really want and exacctllly what you *really* need and don’t forget that lil voice knows you a whole lot better than the external ones you so often find yourself listening to. ?⚡️ follow daaaat lil voice b. it knows the way (esp when it tells you to ditch ur to do list and get acai on a monday?))

DATE YOURSELF ? if i could give lil allie - who felt so lost for so long - one big piece of advice, it’d be this. ((but i cant so i’m giving it to you)). i spent so many years of my life just showing up as who i thought i “should” be. too influenced by the external to even think about who i really was on the internal so many years avoiding myself. not wanting to dive deeper into the relationship i had with the person i should’ve been the closest to - yet felt the further self from (me.) your purpose in this world isn’t to be the version of you that’s most liked or most similar to everyone else. your purpose is to be the most you. so date yourself. do things WITH yourself. not like running errands or grocery shopping. like: take yourself to get acai & explore a new area. go on a solo road trip & scream sing the words to your fav songs. bring your journal & a book to a coffee shop & sit there for hours. get dressed up & take yourself out to eat. get comfy with your own company. with being alone. get to know yourself. on a deep, intimate level. become your own best friend get curious with the thoughts in your mind. find out what you like when nobody is there to influence you. find out what you don’t like. get to know your sadness. spend time tracing the roots where it grows from instead of distracting yourself in another humans company. get to know the way your mind works. think your deep thoughts without interruption. when you spend time with yourself, when you truly take time to nurture the relationship that you have with yourself - that’s when you get to KNOW yourself. we are all so distracted by the world around us that we forget to pay attention to the world within us. & then we wonder why we feel a lil lost. you’re not lost. just too far from your soul & too close to the you you think you “should” be. so dive deeper. get curious. date yourself. the most important relationship you will ever have in this life is the one that you have with yourself. i hope you know you deserve to make it a good one. i hope you take time to nourish it. i promise you, it’s the best thing i’ve ever done for myself ??

what they don’t tell you about healing your relationship with food.... is that i it heals your relationship with lots of other things too ?? so grateful for dinner dates with my mommma & the special moments that come along with food freedom. moments that we never got when i was struggling for so many years. sometimes i take this freedom for granted. but it’s in these moments when i’m reminded how beautiful it really is ??? a lil reminder for anyone who needs it: keep going. these memories matter most. ?✨

you’re not too much. you’re not too much and you’re not too little. you’re not too emotional. and you’re not too needy. you do not feel too passionately. and you do not think too deeply. you do not love too hard. and you do not care too much. your past is not too much of a burden. and the weight in your heart is not too heavy to carry. your body isn’t too big. nor is it too small. you’re not too much to handle and you’re not too hard to love. your personality isn’t too over the top and your laugh isn’t too loud and your energy isn’t too bold and you’re not too spontaneous or too free flowing. you are not too anything. but there will always be those people who try and make you feel otherwise. there will always be those people who will try and make you feel like you ARE too much of THIS. too much of THAT. there will always be those people that maybe, maybe you are “too” much for. but guess what? those are simply not your people. you are you. perfectly and wonderfully made. just the right amount of every little thing that makes you you. with all of the puzzle pieces coming together exactly as they should. you are not too much and you are not too little. you are not “too” anything because you are you. and when you are you, there is no such thing as thing as being “too”. and please, don’t ever let yourself be convinced that you are. please don’t ever feel the need to dim your light to accommodate the comfort of those around you. please don’t ever feel the need to shrink yourself to fit into the molds that others have made for you. you are you. perfectly and wonderfully made. just enough of everything that’s meant to make you YOU. so please, show up. be you. be bold. stand in the power of who you are. shine your light. take up space. you’re not too much and you’re not too little. you are you, my lil love. and everything about that is pretty dang special, i think. ????
